Beautiful spring day in the mountains.
Snowpack
The snowpack was frozen and firm at all elevations this morning. The surface of sunny and low elevation slopes broke down quickly under warm temperatures and ample sunshine. Shady slopes in the alpine remain chalky and dry. Manageable surface sluffs were observed in steep terrain. No new avalanche activity. No cracking or collapsing.
