Snowpack

By 2pm around 3 inches of new snow had fallen in the area. Northwest winds drifted the new snow into deeper pockets, but the snow remaind soft and unreactive. The Thanksgiving layer below treeline continue to facet as the basel facets grow in size. In general the snowpack below treeline has faceted and layer hardenss is simpley the diffrence grain size. Larger the facated grains, softer the layer. No cracking or collpasing observed today.
