Weather
Clear sky’s in the morning. Overcast with SE winds at 10-20 mph around noon. Incoming weather system to the west bringing light snow showers and significant temperature drop.
Snowpack
West facing slopes of Pikes Peak wind scoured. Approach involved low tide conditions with large facets throughout entire snowpack on west side approach. This couloir is cross loaded from previous weeks storms. 65 cm depth with 1F hardness top 10cm, P 10-25cm, 4F 25-60cm, F 5 cm basil facets. Dense windslab resting on basil facets. CTM 12, ECTPV upon column isolation.
