Weather

Overcast, gusting wind, light precipitation starting at approximately 1200. NTL

Snowpack

Snow conditions varied greatly on all aspects. NTL and ATL conditions varied from sastrugi to scoured. Areas holding snow varied from wind buff to wind board with pockets of powder snow. Areas with punchy wind board had between 3-5cm wind slabs on top of sugar snow (approximately 10 cm). Below that was a strong slab of pencil to knife hardness. Southern aspects seemed to be benefitting the most from wind transport.
