Soft but dense, wind-deposited snow.
Avalanche
Slab broke slow but wide and steady to the right as I was skiing with a leftward trend toward the shoulder. Got out of its way with ease but it broke several hundred feet across and 500+ feet down over the cliffs to the basin floor.
