HS 136cm on windward westerly aspect of pulpit 5 at 2225m. ECTX. CTM17 BRK down 60cm on P density interface. Top half of pack to this interface was generally F to 4F to 1F. Bottom half of pack was 4F facets/depth hoar. PF 60 PS 30. Deeper snowpack on the NE slopes of pulpit 4(HS 180cm at same elevation with much thicker 1F mid pack.) big variation in snow depth between windward and lee slopes in same general location and elevation at TL. Some recent solar trigger point release Na observed from steep alpine terrain. No recent slab avalanches observed. 1cm suncrust on easterly aspect at TL on pulpit 4 and surface snow on solar aspects BTL moist in the afternoon. Shaded western and NE slopes had dry snow to valley bottom. Picture of the snow bridge across the river on March 19.
