North Klondike River Valley

Snowmobiles have been up the North Klondike River valley, although not all the way to Divide Lake. In the bottom of the valley, the snow varies from shallow hard crust to deep loose facets (60-80cm). This could make for slow progress if anyone tries to make it to Divide on skis for example. Also, the "glacier"/overflow on the river close to the highway was actively pouring water over the ice. We avoided the section completely and it may still be wise to simply reroute on higher grounds to go around it.
