Skied up the morning of Sunday the 20th to Asulkan cabin and left the following afternoon. We toured up to the nunatak below the Youngs Peak headwall on both days and skied a variety of lines both down to the hut and down to the skier's right of the Pterodactyl as well as a number of the steep lines of the skiers right of the Tree Triangle. Up on the glacier coverage was in the 2.5-3.0m range but the main line on seven steps still has a lot of open crevasses. Wind slabs were present in immediate lee features in the alpine and we were able to ski cut a few sz1's. Wherever the it was even modestly sheltered in the alpine and when were were in the treeline we found good powder and no signs of instability. Skiing back to the parking we only had to take our skis off two or three times for short sections.
