On monday we skied up hamilton lake sumer trail til about 1950m then headed up the trees onto the flats on emerald south ridge, one whoomf at about 1450m in the trees and very shallow crack on a wind loaded role near tree line that didnt move in open trees but no other signs on the way up, our first lap we skied the tree line down our skin track for 200m triggering very small dry soft slabs size 1s approx 15cm deep or less on pillowy terrain in isolated areas of wat i believed to be storm slab or very light reactive wind slab. Second lap we climbed to tree line at approx 2200m, we skied one of the steeper dense treed chutes that go into emerald path, a ski cut of the first gully between two trees let of a size one dry soft slab that triggered a larger size 1 propogating close to 75m across the ridge in open trees at the top of the line, moved quickly but only for 30m through the trees. No step downs or settlements up high. The rest of the path was dealt with quickly, snowed over 5cm in the 6 hrs maybe close to 10 in the alpine that day light winds was -5 at the car in the am and -2 in the alpine around 2 at 2200m vis was poor, no signs of instabilitys on the way down the path besides sone of the walls on the gully close to the lake had peeled 50cm+deep size 1s that maybe have been a day or two old and maybe sonething older flushed the middle of the gully for quite a ways( maybe larger from the top?) Stay safe out there its only getting worse
