No obvious signs of instability throughout the day, and no cohesive slab was obvious in the start zone. The slope fractured above the skier and propagated downslope. The skier tried to exit the slide by the right hand side but was knocked down and carried about 100 m downslope before being coughed out the side. No injuries.
