Good day in Silent Pass, blue skies allowed us to learn the area better. 135cm snow pack in the high alpine. There was a rapid rise in temp from minus 12 at the 30km parking area (1100 hrs) to plus 2 in the alpine an hour or so later. Valley bottom was cold for the ride out too. No avalanche activity noted.
