Snowpack
Upside down snowpack all the way to the ground. Facets deep with storm snow and soft wind slab on top even in thick glades. Dry Gulch East and southeast aspects 10,600 to 11,600
Avalanche
Didn't see the avalanche occur, but tracks told the story. On the road cut just above the Mount Trelease/Dry Gulch Parking area a single skier released a small slide to the ground with enough depth to be a problem. It appears they skied away unharmed. Snow was piled up at least 6 feet deep on the uphill side of the tree, and the debris at the bottom was certainly deep enough to bury a person.
