Weather
Warm and mostly clear. Temperature at Fremont Pass was in the mid-forties at around noon.
Snowpack
Quick roadside stops showed mostly faceted snow on due north-facing slopes. Northeast near treeline was moist near the ground with the most well-formed facets near the surface. Anything getting hit by the sun was moist and will likely have surface crusts after a refreeze. Southerly slopes are bare at all elevations. Slide paths like the Everett group on Indy Pass had almost no snow in the start zones. The Beeler group had just a skiff of snow near ridgetop. Around Indy, northerly above treeline slopes have snow but I could see lots of rocks poking through the very thin snowpack. Coverage is not consistent and my best estimate is the snowpack is 10 inches deep at most. There wasn't much evidence of previous wind loading and more-deeply-drifted areas.
