Snowpack
Widespread collapsing on skin up. Dug pit at NE Aspect at 10,490 ft. (snowpilot attached): 85 cm depth. 15cm of new snow (surprising!). More cohesive slab forming between 38-53cm. Bottom of this slab was 1F hardness. 38cm and below our early season rotten snow. ECT resulted in ECTP17, breaking at 38cm. Though the recent snow (53cm-surface) is not very consolidated yet, it is now sitting on a decently stiff slab 38-53cm. More loading will continue to stress this and this slab should get stiffer and larger as time goes on and more snow falls.
