Weather
The day was overcast with a moderate wind from the West. There was some light recent snow, although not recorded at the local weather station, that was being transported.
Snowpack
Interesting. The snow pack seemed highly variable both in terms of depth and structure as assessed by pole probing during the uphill portion of my tour. A shallow fragile windslab is forming but cracking was limited to the immediate vicinity of my skis. However, a large amount of pillowing could be seen on the terrain.
