Snowpack

Wind packed snowpack everywhere that I rode today. Top 6-8” was dense but everything under that was very soft and felt hollow all the way to the ground. Observed lots of wind loaded areas and drifts. Initiated cracks on everything with any kind of slope.

Avalanche

Observed 3 natural avalanches this afternoon. 2 ran during the storm and had new snow in them. 1 was fresh and observed from a distance.
