previous few days had new snowfall with winds out of the WNW Winds continued this morning out of the W with obvious drifting snow at ridgeline

This area sees considerable wind loading and has slid prior this season after the early December snowfall

Rosebud Cornice: NC-HS-R2-D2-I Shinn Chute: NC-HS-R3-D2-O ~12500ft E facing slope Occured sometime 1/26 between 11:30 and 2:00 The lookers left slide occured first and looks as though chunks of cornice from that release initiated the lookers right slide. You can see the debris overlapping at the bottom
