S1 at times then it would stop. Just a couple of inches of new accumulation; I was below treeline but it looked like ridgeline was moderately windy with active wind loading. Winds were mostly west or northwest but light overall where I was.
Snowpack
Rec Trip: The storm did not produce a lot of snow around Vail Pass, but it also seems to have spared us the wind (at least for now). HST was ~8" and very high quality. Dug on a west-facing slope near treeline and found no slab in 120 cm of progressively denser snow, top to bottom. Basal depth hoar, chains, and facets were laboratory-grade but some rounding was evident among the large grains that were mainly of no consequence because there is no stiff slab capping this weak snow.
