Weather
The sun was out for the first 30ish minutes of our skinning up the gully from the parking lot. Clouds moved in pretty quickly and stayed for the rest of the day. There was a 30 minute window around 11:30 when the wind was gusting pretty hard, but other than that, it was quite calm. There were flurries, but not enough for significant accumulation. The sun didn't break through the clouds enough by the time we left to cause any real melting/warming.
Snowpack
Isolated pockets of thin wind slab. Other than that, it was about a half to one foot of new snow that hadn't been affected by warming yet. The snow underneath the new snow was very crusty and solid.
Avalanche
Small, dry loose slide at 11,200' on a NE facing slope. Triggered on a rocky rollover near the bottom of South Diamond Face
