Ice Conditions

Went for a fitness morning at Vail to check out conditions. -5c when we parked at 7am and 5 when we left at 12. Conditions are generally thin for this time of year. Most notably the Rigid Designator still has a large section that has not filled in yet and has not seen much traffic. The rest is trying. With our low snow year there is lots of exposed rock and ice above the climbs so rock and ice fall is a greater hazard then it usually is.
