Meachen burn

Snow quality is still surprisingly good at upper elevations with 20-40 cm of heavy powder above a widespread crust. Near ridgetops the snow is a bit stiffer with signs of stubborn wind slabs. We did not see new avalanches or signs of instability, but did see some more debris from small dry loose avalanches that occurred during Friday night's storm. Snow is gradually melting off the access roads, and staging areas will likely get pushed further up the valley this week.
