Saw a natural avalanche originating in the pocket above the lower cliff band (around 2400m) on the south east face of Mt Whymper triggering another avalanche in the path below. It stopped around 1700m. Strong winds and snowfall all day. Shooting cracks on wind loaded ridge features around tree line . About 10 cm of windslab in these areas.
