The Bonny, Middle Moraine and Trees

Toured up to the middle moraine from Loop Brook parking. Snow bridges well formed. Skinned up the tree-line route, steering toward the middle moraine. Good tracks. Skied down going a soft skier's right. Good quality snow all the way back to the creek. Minor sluffing on the moraine. Blind cliffs in the steep trees mostly covered, but wise to check your line and go slow in a couple places. Man is that drop around the creek exit steep this year! Warm temps, but not enough to deteriorate the snow quality. Sunny, but did not penetrate into the Bonny; only lower creek got weak sun. Shed a layer, but still looked cool (style points important).
