Avalanche

Solo skier remote triggered a slab skiing an unsupported convex ridge feature on the skiers right side of geronimo bowl. Avalanche ran full track through sparsely forested slope. According to the skier the slab was triggered less than 5m from where he was skiing on the ridge. Our group of three was skiing the main more supported feature to the skiers left of the ridge. The slide was triggerd as we were preparing to begin our descent but we did not see it happen. We did meet up with the skier who triggered the slide halfway down the run. No one was caught in the slide. It appeared that large portions of Geronimo had run during the last storm cycle and there was a large amount of debris at the bottom of the bowl from this previous event.
