Did not observe any sluffing or persistent slabs in the tree line. But with 30cm of new snow played it safe and stayed in the safe zones. Visibility was poor due to low clouds and snow throughout the day. Many terrain hazards throughout the ride. Sink holes in river beds, rocks and stumps just hiding below the surface. Lack of snow below tree line, so had to stay on trail until we were above the cabin. Though there has been an extreme lack of snow this year, there was close to 30 cm of new snow in the past 24 hrs. Made for a fun day in the meadows. Left us with a glimpse of hope for the rest of the season.
