Ski'd Just south of Pterodactyl Peak above the asulkan Cabin. Temps were milder only -20ish for the day. Snow was sticky with a thing 2cm wind affected layer up at the top. Below there was lost of fresh snow from the last dump. We were able to get some loose sluff on convex features on the side of tree triangle. Overall the turns at the top made it worth the slog through the valley to get out.

Test Failure Layer Crystal Types
crust, facets

Performed Column test and failed CTM15 at the ice layer 35cm down. Continued the test to CTM28 where it failed on the facets from Early Dec at 90cm. The snow pack is quite consolidated between the 2 failure layers, I would suspect a large slab avy to happen if you were able to trigger on the early season facets.
