Still Snowy and Cornices on N Facing Aspects

Still a lot of snow at treeline and above making for slower than normal travel and hot slogging conditions. Overnight freeze was good making for decent travel/snow conditions. Cornices were still looming on N aspects as we traversed from the col over to the start of the N ridge (photo) but it was easy to stay out of their range. Rock was snow-free and glissading conditions were excellent!
