SSV slack / Twin Cairns

Toured SSV slack including Grizzly trees and Twin Cairns traverse and N descent. Quite a few settlements observed with cracking over the entire day but since we were fairly low angle nothing moved. No significant obs to report otherwise - ski pen of about 40cm. Facets galore on the ridge traverse of twin cairns which was extra bony. Skied down the N run and wind skin (5cm) did go but no entrainment . Snowpack HS fairly consistent at about 70cm except for areas that had been blown away. Slow snow though which was annoying since we never went much more than 30deg. Had to be wary of barely covered deadfall in the trees.
