Gondola

Skiing varied between great (cold dry fluff), mediocre (breakable crust) and terrible (patchy ice and tree branches). Road to base Habrich trail is skiable, some bootpacking required after that. Steep trees after creek need more snow.

Quick pit on N aspect 1440m. HS 100. 5mm surface crust non-supportive. 3cm crust sandwich down 30, with facets under. CTM 18 SP down 28 (2cm above top of crust). Didn't have loupe etc with me but suspect on small density change. No signs of instability. Surface hoar well formed at sheltered lower elevations, up to 2cm.
