Uptracking slope, aware of slab over crust, and just gettting ready to turn away from steeper terrain, triggered and caught on the edge of the slab. Short ride, stayed on surface. Details: Mt. Harvey, 1780m W asp ALP, Cross Loaded.Short, steep slope measured at 35-43 degrees, with a convexity at far side. Crown varied from 10-50cm, avg 30cm, and was a Pencil Hard Slab sitting on the Nov 7 Raincrust. A thin layer of softer, 4F sugary facets was the failure plane. Approx. 30m wide x 50m long.
