It was +5 °C at Corbin staging with moderate rainfall. The road was saturated with creeks and large puddles along the way. There was not great visibility, but we did observe several size 2 to 2.5 wet slab avalanches at treeline involving the entire snowpack. There was a total of 60 cm of snow at 1800 m. The top 20 cm of the snowpack was wet, and moist for the bottom 40 cm. We suspect freezing level was around 2200 to 2500 m.
