Cowboy North

The sudden convexity at the north end of Cowboy above the omnipresent climbing track up to the north end of Cowboy released as a storm slab recently and ran as a sz 1.5 into the dense trees of the trim line burying the track under a metre of debris. The slope has been windloaded and filled in sufficiently with this season's avalanches and wind blown snow that even size 1's will likely cover the track. Good place to use an alternate route as folks are still testing this slope. We skied steep tight trees to the NW down to Melody Creek with good quality deep powder and only dry loose sluffing.
