Weather

Heavy snowfall all day. Measured manually 14 inches of snowfall between 7am and 5pm with precip rate from S3-S5. Moderate Sw winds, overcast. Cool.

Snowpack

Human triggered SS avalanches ~1ft easy to trigger on slopes >35 deg by 2pm. generally only ~1.5m HS. The top 30cm all fell today. Old snow surface was stout crust supportable to boot pen in most places, on all but due N aspects where there was no crust but facets below HST.

Storm slabs easy to trigger by this afternoon, approximately 1 ft thick.
