Weather

Clear, with clouds building. Steady, heavy snow and full cloud cover by 815am.

Snowpack

No Pits. Punchy / faceted snow was readily apparent while breaking trail. Boot high penetration, with little to no support below the new snow. Wind was moving a lot of the fresh snow around and creating large drifts.

Avalanche

Small debris from slides off the 2nd creek headwall above the Broome Hut- not sure when they ran, conditions were changing rapidly. See Photos.
