Weather

Solid freeze overnight all elevations. Clear skies in AM, then scattered clouds. Light breezes in valley, no wind heard up high. Warm temps. Distinct weather change mid afternoon. Winds picked up to 10-20 at ridgeline w higher gusts. These mixed down to valley at lower speeds. Grey stratus clouds moved overhead from south southwest quickly, though didn't reach far enough north/ west to cover Roaring Fork Valley by early evening.

Snowpack

Spring snowpack suffering extended warming. Exceptions are cold, northerly slopes above treeline, where snow still dry-ish. Some thin dusty patches, usually up high and easterly.

Avalanche

Numerous old crowns and debris piles visible. Looks like Mid-March wet snow cycle was widespread in this area, especially on west-facing slopes.
