Weather

Mixed snow showers and brief sunny spells.

Snowpack

Twenty inches or so of new snow on six to ten inches of old. Felt and heard occasional whumpfing climbing on moderately steep northish slopes (<30º) at 11,600' to 11,700'.

Avalanche

Lots of slides visible at Wolf Creek Ski Area. No surprise, since they were bombing a lot. None in the bowl below Lobo. Did not investigate Suicide Bowl below the telecom tower to the west.
