Weather

Morning started out clear and around -4C at 9,000ft at 9am. Scattered high clouds were building throughout the morning and wind picked up as the day progressed. By noon, air temp at 9,000ft was -1C.

Snowpack

HS @ 9,000ft varied from 30-50cm. HS @ 10,000 varied from 40-50cm. HS @ 11,000 varied from 55-80cm. Overall snowpack is unsupportive with Foot Pen going down to ground. Fist hard storm snow from last week is resting on a layer of buried facets that are highly reactive
