Snowpack

Spx: probed up to 290cm's abv TL E aspects. Top 55 cm's is where the main concern can be found. Top 15 cm's, light F hard new snow not bonding too well to previous wind affected 4f layer. CTE6Q2. Nice powder. 15 to 35cm's from surface, 4f hard and less reactive. CTM18Q2. 35 to 55 cm's, 4f+ rounding and df's, bonding well to old snow surface. Below, multiple stiff slabs. Probing deeper, the spx felt consistently good. Experienced no natural signs of instability and observed no recent avalanche activity, though visibility was poor.
