Heavy winds and variable (W-SW-S) yesterday transported snow from recent precip, but amount available for transport was not significant (3-8 cm) due to melt/freeze crusts and settling over sunny Christmas weekend. Most windward areas were scoured to the old snow surface and small to moderate increase in cornices was visible, although I think most of the suspended snow went to Wyoming or Kansas. 6 cm of dry snow fell overnight in light to moderate winds.
