Weather

Cloudy skies with snow showers (heavy at times). Snowfall intensity increased as the afternoon wore on. Winds generally light increasing to moderate at times. Cold, but not frigid.

Snowpack

Observed very small loose sluffs. Ski tests produced cracking under skis (SE at TL). Test pit (NE below TL) CTVQ1 on SH 30 cm below surface. CTM/H on deeper SH layers, but couldn't get repeatable results. SSASR2D1 Big Curve (E below TL)- new snow sitting on hard crust. Good propagation.
