Snowpack

Just thought I'd report a natural slide that I saw on Expectation Mountain outside of Rico. Fairly significant, beleive it probably occurred sometime on Friday although I didn't see it until Saturday. Began approximately 30 yards below the corniced ridge. It was a predominately east facing aspect. Main crown (1.5-2.5ft) was below rock band then there were multiple others(1.5-3ft.) that funneled in from the sides of the chutes. Two main slides ..in two different chutes. One was more of a bowl while the other was a tighter chute. Anyway seemed like more cut loose from the tight chute...ran for approximately 250-300 feet from main crown at top. Left about a ten foot pile of debris with a few desk sized slabs on the side.
