Snowpack
Had a nice tour today with Speed. Nothing extreme, but skied Swamp, and poked in the snow a bit... saw some interesting stuff. -large surface hoar present even at 2pm on all open meadows and slopes. Larger feathers in thinly treed terrain. -little to no wind transport, even on high ridges. (few plumes seen were blown by N wind) -First 6in of last storm has sintered more rapidly and created a brittle, 1F hardness slab. The second half of last weekends storm remains weak and unconsolidated, along for the ride. -ECTP13, failing on buried near surface facets ~30cm below surface.
