Snowpack

snow depth varied between 115cm and 185cm. We dug a pit to the ground at a depth of 185cm in a windloaded area and got CT27 on what appeared to be buried surface hoar. Our block split in half vertically and broke over the surface hoar layer. The layer was about 68cm below the surface. Found a 20cm facet layer on the ground which was 4F hard and we couldn't get a result on it.
