Snowing S1-S2 most of day. Skies alternately obscured or overcast. Light winds.

Snowpack

Atypical for location - supportable, deep. No cracking or whumpfing, but tests on NW-facing, cross-loaded slope near ridgeline produced propagation (ECTP30) and collapses (DTH SC) at top of rounding basal FC.

Avalanche

Herd some loud rumbles, but with visibility poor, couldn't see where.
