Snowing lightly through most of morning. 20 cms super low density

Over several pits, depth ranged from about 1 to 1.5 meters. All were on N, NW aspects around 9800'. The buried SH layer (with crust topping) was present in all pits. It's now got about 50cm snow on top of it. CT and ECT's were all fairly consistent. All were in the Hard range (20-25) and had poor quality shears. Q2-2.5ish. I was surprised that it was not more reactive. The other surprising thing is the lack of large facets down deep. The largest basal grains were maybe 3mm. Really the only thing that was reactive was the new snow. Lots of loose snow moving on the steeper pitches.
