Weather

Broken clouds most of the morning. Ridge line winds were drifting/building Wind Slab. Not real warm, but we were not far from getting a 'Greenhouse' feel. Wind helped keep temps manageable.

Snowpack

Fresh and developing Wind Slab on southerly aspects. Several SSNR1D1 on side loaded south aspect gully features noted---Northerly winds. One of these was R2 D1.5. Quite wide and around 1,300 vertical. Surprised at the propagation, wrapped to a SW aspect through talus field.

Avalanche

Shallow wind slab and Loose (Close to wet) naturals. Think the danger could be a little higher on Friday, maybe Saturday too?
