Mostly sunny, calm winds

Snowpack

Snow surface was comprised mostly of stellar crystals and decomposing snow. Recent snow seemed to have bonded well to the old snow surface due to the storm coming in with little wind and a warm to cool temperature change during the storm. No signs of instability were observed. Snowpack was approximately 7 feet deep at 9,000' on a north facing aspect.

Avalanche

Multiple loose natural releases were observed at above treeline elevations on leeward aspects. No slab avalanches were observed and visibility was excellent in our tour above treeline.
