Cold and stormy later in the day. Ridge line gusts at least 20-30 MPH.
Snowpack
2-3 feet of freshly deposited snow from last 3 days of storms. Rests on large basal facets near ground. Avalanche ran all the way to ground in 2 separate avalanches. First avalanche was triggered from lower on the slope, propagating up to the cliffbands. Second slide happened sympathetically due to the first and came out of the cliffs above 30-40 ft of where the first slide happened.
