Weather

Skies were broken to overcast with thin clouds and isolated light snow. Observed an air temperature of -18C at 1:30 pm and a surface temperature of -17C. Winds remained calm for the duration of the tour.

Snowpack

Found between 10 and 20 cm of recent storm snow from this past week. NE aspects that had seen a bit of wind loading were in the 20 cm range but sheltered areas were considerably less. Surface form was new snow, but recent snow has already begun faceting. Did not observe any signs of instability.
