Snowpack

Looked around on steep NE-E facing slopes below treeline around 10 am. Found rapidly warming snow becoming punchy near trees and rocky areas. The freeze appeared to be about 5-6" thick with wet snow below to the ground. HS ranged from 2 feet to 6" to bare ground in some areas. Though the snow was wet and getting wetter, we were unable to trigger even a small loose slide in steep terrain.
